Do part-time workers receive social-security benefits?

Labour & Employment Law

Yes. Section 21 requires each employer of a worker employed part-time by multiple employers to contribute the applicable provident-fund, gratuity or other social-security benefits based on the basic remuneration paid by that employer.

Part-time status does not automatically remove social-security rights.
