Can an employer repeatedly use fixed-term contracts for a permanent job?

Labour & Employment Law

Calling employment “time-based” does not conclusively determine its legal character. Section 10 and the Labour Rules allow the actual nature of the work to be considered when deciding whether employment is regular.

Where classification is disputed, the Labour Office can determine whether the employment is regular.
