Can a Labour Court judgment be appealed to the Supreme Court?

Labour & Employment Law

It depends on how the Labour Court exercised jurisdiction. Section 161 provides a Supreme Court appeal within 35 days for cases originally heard and decided by the Labour Court.

Where the Labour Court decided a matter in its appellate jurisdiction, the Act states that its decision is final.
