What should a buyer do if a supplier fails to deliver?

Contracts & Business Law

The buyer should document the failure, review the delivery deadline and cure provisions, determine whether time is essential, give any legally required notice and assess cancellation, damages, substitute performance or other remedies.

Sections 525, 526 and 535 are particularly relevant to delay, essential deadlines and breach.[1]
